Rimbun Dahan is the home of architect Hijjas Kasturi and his wife Angela. Set on fourteen acres outside Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the compound of Rimbun Dahan is a centre for developing traditional and contemporary art forms.

Rimbun Dahan hosts a range of artists’ residencies to encourage visual artists, choreographers and other creative individuals to explore and develop their artistic work. We also run a residency for environmental conservation researchers.

Hewodn
Agus Nur Wahidin, known as Hewodn Mas Raden, is a traditional instrument-maker and sound artist from East Java. He spent a month at Rimbun Dahan in September 2025, where he conducted a workshop in making traditional instruments, and performed in Serious Play Improv Lab at Percussion Store in Kota Damansara.Read More »
